Lead an exceptional training team. Shape how thousands of schools learn. Make a lasting impact.

At iSAMS by IRIS, we're trusted by thousands of independent and international schools around the world to help manage every aspect of school life through our market-leading school management platform.

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a Training Team Lead to lead our talented team of Training Consultants, helping them deliver outstanding learning experiences that enable schools to get the very best from iSAMS.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves developing people just as much as delivering exceptional training. Whether you're already leading a software training team or you're an experienced Senior Training Consultant ready to take the next step into leadership, this role offers the opportunity to genuinely influence the future of our training function.

Working closely with the Professional Services Manager, you'll lead an established remote team, help shape the direction of training across iSAMS and play an important part in the continued growth of one of the UK's leading education technology providers.

🧾Why This Role Matters

Training is one of the biggest contributors to our customers' success.

Schools rely on our team to help them confidently use iSAMS, adopt new functionality and get maximum value from the platform.

As Training Team Lead, you'll ensure every member of your team is supported, motivated and continually developing, while helping us evolve how training is delivered as our customer base continues to grow.

You'll influence how we coach our people, improve our training offering, strengthen customer relationships and help shape the future direction of the iSAMS Training team.

This is far more than a people management role - you'll become a key leader within Professional Services, driving improvements that benefit both customers and colleagues.

👥About the Team You'll Join

You'll lead a team of 12 remote-based Training Consultants and Senior Training Consultants, with further growth expected over the coming months.

The team delivers instructor-led software training, webinars and consultancy to schools across the UK and internationally, helping thousands of users confidently adopt iSAMS.

You'll work closely with colleagues across Professional Services, Product, Support and Customer Success, giving you the opportunity to influence how training supports the wider customer journey.

📊What You'll Be Doing

As Training Team Lead, you'll:

  • Lead, coach and inspire a team of Training Consultants and Senior Training Consultants.
  • Create an environment where people feel supported, challenged and able to perform at their best.
  • Hold regular 1:1s, coaching sessions and performance reviews to develop your team.

  • Plan team capacity and resources to ensure customers receive an exceptional service throughout the year.
  • Monitor workloads, calendars and utilisation to maximise efficiency.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for both customers and members of the training team.
  • Help shape and improve training courses, learning materials, webinars and digital content.
  • Review customer feedback and continuously improve the quality of training delivery.
  • Develop team processes and identify opportunities to improve how the department operates.
  • Stay up to date with product developments and help ensure the team remains knowledgeable and confident.
  • Occasionally deliver training yourself when appropriate, particularly for key customer events or where additional support is needed.
