  • Leading and developing high-performing engineering teams across multiple products and technologies
  • Ensuring secure, resilient and compliant SaaS platforms
  • Shaping long-term technology strategy, modernization and cloud transformation initiatives
  • Acting as a technology thought leader across IRIS and with key external stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

You'll likely be:

  • A current Director, Senior Director or Head of Engineering operating within a complex software organisation
  • An experienced SaaS technology leader with a track record of scaling engineering teams and platforms
  • Deeply familiar with modern cloud technologies, particularly AWS and/or Azure
  • Comfortable operating across engineering, product, commercial and operational environments
  • Experienced in Agile, Platform Engineering, DevOps and Site Reliability practices
  • Passionate about developing people, building capability and creating high-performing cultures
  • Commercially astute and customer focused
  • Excited by the opportunities AI presents to transform engineering effectiveness and customer outcomes.

Why Apply?

This is an opportunity to:

  • Influence engineering strategy at one of the UK's largest software companies
  • Lead transformation at scale
  • Work alongside senior leaders across Engineering, Product and Commercial teams
  • Drive innovation across cloud, platform and AI initiatives
  • Develop and mentor engineering teams that support thousands of businesses and accounting professionals globally.

If you're ready for your next leadership challenge and want to make a significant impact across IRIS Engineering, we'd love to hear from you.
