Development Lead - IRIS Innervision Lease Accounting Software

 

Role Overview

We're seeking a Development Lead for IRIS Innervision, a leading provider of IFRS 16 and FASB ASC 842 Lease Accounting Software and Lease Portfolio Management services. This role focuses on leading development efforts to automate lease accounting compliance, enhance leasing processes, and drive efficiencies across the entire lease lifecycle for global corporates.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of cloud-based lease accounting software, ensuring compliance with IFRS 16 and FASB ASC 842 standards.
  • Guide a team in creating solutions that streamline lease management, from inception to compliance and reporting.
  • Collaborate with leasing experts to incorporate financial tools that deliver sustainable business value through the leasing program.
  • Drive innovations in lease portfolio management to optimize efficiencies and deliver savings.

Other Responsibilities

  • Frontend Architecture Familiarity: Proficient in AngularJS for frontend development, understanding of JavaScript without reliance on TypeScript, and the ability to work with and adapt to legacy codebases.
  • Full-stack Development: Ability to navigate and lead development efforts across the full stack, from AngularJS frontend interactions to backend services, including API development, service layer architecture, and database management.
  • Security and Authentication: Knowledge of OAuth and bearer token authentication mechanisms, experience with AWS Cognito or similar identity management services, and the ability to implement secure access controls and permissions.
  • API Development and Management: Oversee both internal and external API development, ensuring APIs are secure, scalable, and maintainable. Understanding of different API scopes and their applications in internal versus customer-facing scenarios.
  • Database Management: Proficiency in SQL Server, understanding complex queries, and the ability to optimize database interactions for performance and scalability.
  • Code Management and Review: Strong experience in code management practices, including experience with Azure DevOps (TFS), Git, or similar systems. Ability to conduct code reviews, ensure coding standards are followed, and mentor junior developers.
  • Debugging and Problem-Solving: Skilled in diagnosing and solving complex technical issues across the software stack, with a strong understanding of asynchronous programming patterns and performance optimization.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of software development experience, at least 2 years in a leadership role, with a strong preference for backgrounds in finance or lease accounting software.
  • Strong experience with .NET technologies, AngularJS, RabbitMQ, SQL Server, and AWS Cognito.
  • Proven track record of leading full-stack development projects to successful completion.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Experience in Agile software development methodologies.
