This is a Fixed Term, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

Summary :

As a successful candidate you will be working in the IRIS Accountancy Solutions business unit.  This part of IRIS produces software for UK accountancy practices. 

You will be working as part of an Agile SCRUM team to deliver tested software features including analysis of requirements, estimation, test planning, definition, automation, execution of test cases and testing bug fixes.

You will be involved in testing a new migration capability extracting data from one application and migrating it to another product.

This is a critical project which requires someone with a can-do attitude and a collaborative way of working.

Responsilities :

  • Execute software testing tasks assigned within agreed timescales and to a high quality standard.
  • Work to test assigned bug fixes ensuring problem is reproducible without and not reproducible with the bug fix, and therefore prove it has been resolved by the bug fix.
  • Perform exploratory testing in areas potentially affected by the implementation of a requirement or bug fix.
  • Participate actively in test case design.
  •  Define automated test cases
  • Review technical specifications for tasks assigned, providing comments and feedback to producer.
  • Timely and accurate reporting of assigned task status as required by your manager.
