Our journey in North America began in 2019 when we launched our Practice Management software by acquiring Practice Engine. Since then we have acquired many other businesses in the Accounting, HCM and Payroll space and are now providing technology and services to over 135 countries globally.

The role

We are hiring a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our dynamic sales team. The Sales Executive will be crucial in driving revenue growth by meeting and exceeding allocated quota targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building lasting customer relationships.
 

Key Responsibilities:

Meet and Exceed Team Sales Quota:

  • Meet the sales quota as detailed in the compensation plan.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth, market penetration, and customer acquisition.
  • Work with the Sales Manager to identify campaigns, events, webinars, and other activities to drive lead generation.

Present and demonstrate allocated IRIS products:

  • Able to present complex demonstrations of software/services and speak confidently about the features and benefits of the products
  • Able to carry our detailed discovery calls and learn all the necessary information required to match our prospects requirements with the appropriate products.
  • Where appropriate and when approved by the Sales Manager, onsite (in person demonstrations) may be required that will possibly require travel with oversight stays.

Maintain CRM and accurate records:

  • Making sure that all prospect/customer data is kept secure and up to date using the assigned IRIS CRM
  • Be able to provide accurate forecasting/reporting when required, directly from the CRM which will require ‘Close dates’ ‘Sales stage’ ‘Forecast category’ and other fields being always up to date.

Forecasting

  • Provide weekly/monthly sales forecast accurate to within +10% to -10%
  • Manage pipeline independently, ensuring all opportunities are contacted and followed up.

Personal sales performance

  • Review/analyze personal sales performance and where applicable, look to provide a plan to the Sales Manager with a ‘bridge to number’.

Sales Negotiating

  • Skilfully negotiate terms and conditions with clients, including pricing, contract terms, and service level agreements, to secure deals align with the company's profitability objectives.

Market Research:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.

Product Knowledge:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our products or services and effectively communicate their features, benefits, and value propositions to potential clients.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the sales team, marketing, and other departments to ensure a coordinated approach to customer acquisition and retention.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and resilience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of the industry and market trends is a plus.
  • Prior experience in B2B sales is an advantage.
