The Role

As an Associate Pre-Sales Consultant, you'll support the Pre-Sales team in demonstrating our software solutions to prospective customers. You'll learn our products, gain experience delivering demonstrations and work alongside experienced consultants to understand customer requirements and showcase how IRIS solutions solve real business challenges.

This role offers structured training, mentoring and clear progression into a fully-fledged Pre-Sales Consultant position.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Pre-Sales team throughout the sales cycle.
  • Learn the IRIS software portfolio and become a product expert.
  • Assist with preparing and delivering product demonstrations.
  • Participate in customer discovery meetings to understand business requirements.
  • Help tailor software demonstrations to meet customer needs.
  • Assist with responses to RFPs, RFIs and tender documents.
  • Create demo environments and presentation materials.
  • Work closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success and Professional Services teams.
  • Keep up to date with product enhancements and industry trends.
  • Support webinars, events and customer workshops where required.
  • Maintain accurate records within CRM systems.

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, graduate, business support or technical support roles.
  • Degree, apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Business, IT or a related discipline (desirable but not essential).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Experience presenting to groups or delivering training.
