The Role

We're looking for an ambitious, driven and commercially minded New Business Sales Executive to join our growing Commercial New Business team.

This is a field-based role focused on winning new customers across our HCM portfolio. You'll be responsible for identifying opportunities, building your own pipeline and managing the complete sales process from initial prospecting through to contract signature.

Working alongside Sales Development, Marketing, Pre-Sales and Customer Success teams, you'll help organisations transform the way they manage their workforce while playing a key role in delivering IRIS' ambitious growth plans.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Identify and win new business opportunities within your assigned territory.
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals and marketing-generated leads.
  • Develop and execute territory plans to maximise market opportunities.
  • Own the full sales cycle from initial engagement through to contract signature.
  • Qualify opportunities using MEDDICC methodology.
  • Create strategic account and deal plans to maximise win rates.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting within Salesforce.
  • Deliver reliable monthly and quarterly sales forecasts.
  • Build relationships with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Deliver consultative sales conversations focused on customer challenges and business outcomes.
  • Work closely with internal teams including Marketing, Sales Development, Pre-Sales, Professional Services and Customer Success.
  • Share best practice and contribute to a collaborative, high-performance sales culture.

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

  • Proven success in exceeding new business sales targets within SaaS, software or technology sales.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Strong consultative selling skills.
  • Experience selling into senior decision-makers and C-suite executives.
  • Knowledge of structured sales methodologies such as MEDDICC.
  • Experience using Salesforce or another CRM to manage pipeline and forecasting.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify growth opportunities and develop territory plans.
