Paycheck Plus is Ireland’s leading payroll outsourcing provider for small and medium-sized businesses. From our base in Drogheda, we handle payrolls for clients across Ireland and overseas – making sure every payslip is accurate, compliant, and delivered on time.

This position can be based in either the UK or Ireland, with flexibility to work remotely while collaborating closely with our Drogheda-based team.

About the Team You'll Join

You’ll join our Managed Payroll Services team - a close-knit group who care about their work and each other. We believe in collaboration, sharing knowledge, and celebrating success. You’ll work closely with our Regional Operations Manager and leadership team, with plenty of support to grow and shape your own career too.


What You'll Be Doing

Lead and Support Your Team

  • Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of Client Payroll Executives.
  • Run regular check-ins, performance reviews, and training sessions.
  • Help plan workloads, schedule payrolls, and maintain high accuracy and productivity.
  • Approve timesheets, leave, and other team administration.

💼 Keep Payrolls Accurate and Compliant

  • Oversee payroll processing for a portfolio of clients.
  • Ensure payrolls meet all legal, regulatory, and internal requirements.
  • Review and improve existing processes, introducing smarter and more efficient ways of working.
  • Support automation and system updates to keep things running smoothly.

🤝 Build Strong Client Relationships

  • Be a trusted point of contact for clients – approachable, knowledgeable, and dependable.
  • Help the team manage client queries quickly and effectively.
  • Support the onboarding of new clients and make sure service expectations are clear.
  • Monitor feedback and work with your team to maintain excellent client satisfaction.

🧾 Stay Hands-On When Needed

  • Process and review payrolls to stay sharp on systems and compliance.
  • Keep up to date with Irish payroll legislation, best practices, and reporting standards.

What We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Strong Irish payroll experience, ideally in a bureau or multi-client environment.
  • Previous team lead or supervisory experience, or the ability to step into leadership confidently.
  • A solid understanding of Irish payroll legislation and reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a passion for accuracy.
  • Great communication and problem-solving skills – you know how to stay calm under pressure.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and genuine care for your team and clients.
