At IRIS Software Group, we build software that helps millions of people get paid, run businesses, and manage schools every single day.

Now, we’re using Generative AI (GenAI) to make that even better - and this role is key to making it work in the real world.

🧾Why This Role Matters

GenAI isn’t just a buzzword here - it’s already being used by our Customer Operations teams.

This role is about making sure it actually delivers.

You’ll:

  • Keep our AI tools running smoothly
  • Spot what’s working (and what isn’t)
  • Help teams use AI confidently and effectively
  • Turn data into real improvements

If you enjoy solving problems, working with data, and seeing the impact of your work - this is where you’ll thrive.

👥About the Team You'll Join

You’ll work closely with both our Customer Services and GenAI teams, reporting into senior leaders across both areas.

It’s a small, focused setup - meaning:

  • You won’t be lost in a large team
  • You’ll have real ownership
  • Your ideas will be heard and acted on

📊What You'll Be Doing

This is a practical, hands-on role - not theory.

Day-to-day, you’ll:

  • Monitor how our AI tools are performing
  • Analyse usage, results, and feedback to improve output
  • Support testing and updates to AI models and prompts
  • Help fix issues when things don’t work as expected
  • Create simple reports showing performance and impact
  • Train teams so they can get the best out of AI
  • Improve processes by identifying where AI can save time
  • Work with different teams to drive adoption
  • Help ensure everything is compliant, safe, and accurate

🔎What We’re Looking For

You don’t need to be an AI expert - but you do need to be curious, analytical, and comfortable working with data and systems.

You’ll likely have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Data, Engineering, or similar
  • Experience in data, operations, or technical support roles
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Confidence working with data and performance metrics
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Clear communication skills - you can explain things simply

Bonus (not essential):

  • Exposure to AI, machine learning, or automation tools

🚀 Why Apply?

  • Work with GenAI in a real, hands-on way - not just theory
  • Be part of a growing area with huge future potential
  • Gain experience that’s highly in demand
  • See the direct impact of your work on teams and customers
  • Join a business where AI adoption is already happening - not just planned

📝 What Can You Expect From Our Application Process?

We like to keep things simple, transparent, and fair:

1️⃣ Apply online
Just upload your CV and tell us why you’re interested in the role.

2️⃣ Initial Interview (plus Online Assessments)

  • A chat with our Talent team.
  • Two short assessments:
    • CCAT (15-minute timed test).
    • EPP (untimed personality questionnaire).

3️⃣ Stage One
A competency-based interview with our Senior Manager, GenAI Operations

4️⃣ Stage Two
A final interview with our Senior Manager, Customer Services (Education)
