We’re recruiting Client Pension Associates to join our growing Pensions team. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail driven, customer focused and keen to build a long-term career within pensions, payroll or financial services.

Successful candidates will support the delivery of IRIS’s pension services, working closely with Client Pension Executives, Team Leads and Managers to ensure pension processing is accurate, compliant and delivered to a high standard.

These roles will be recruited via an in-person assessment centre at our Manchester office on Monday 19th January 2026. Please only apply if you are available to attend on this date from 10:00-15:30. 

What you’ll be doing

  • Developing a strong understanding of pension systems, processes and legislation

  • Processing pension forms and returns for starters, leavers and changes

  • Assisting with the preparation and submission of monthly pension returns

  • Liaising with payroll teams, schools, businesses and pension providers to resolve queries

  • Ensuring pensions are processed accurately and on time

  • Supporting continuous improvement of pension processes and services

  • Keeping up to date with changes in pension legislation and government policy

What we’re looking for

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

  • A customer-focused mindset with clear communication skills

  • Willingness to learn and develop pension and payroll expertise

  • Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines

Previous experience in pensions, payroll or financial administration is beneficial but not essential — full training will be provided.
