At IRIS Software Group, we build software that helps people focus on what matters most - from making sure employees get paid to helping schools run smoothly.

As part of our education portfolio, we’re proud to offer iSAMS, a market-leading cloud-based management system used by over 1,500 Independent and International Schools around the world. It brings together everything a school needs into one place - from student records and communication to finance, reporting and safeguarding.

We’re now looking for a confident and organised Training Consultant to join our iSAMS team. You’ll play a key role in helping schools adopt the system successfully - delivering hands-on training, building great relationships, and making sure every customer feels supported throughout the journey.

This is a full-time, permanent role with a hybrid working model. You’ll be based near one of our key offices in Manchester, Leeds or Slough (Heathrow Approach), with flexibility to work from home and occasional travel to client sites when needed. Most training is delivered online, but there may be occasional travel to schools in the UK or potentially overseas. We’re flexible on this and will work with you to agree what’s manageable.

💬 What Will You Be Doing?

  • Deliver high-quality training to new schools – mostly online, with occasional onsite visits across the UK and potentially overseas.
  • Work closely with the implementation team to design tailored training programmes
  • Help configure the system to meet each school’s needs
  • Create and maintain clear, engaging training materials, including guides and podcasts
  • Support existing schools with refresher training and promote new modules or features
  • Keep up to date with product changes so your training is always relevant and helpful

🙌 Who Are We Looking For?

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience delivering software training, or a background in education/teaching with strong communication skills
  • Great verbal and written communication skills, with confidence delivering sessions to both individuals and groups
  • A proactive, helpful attitude and the ability to quickly build trust with customers
  • Strong organisational skills – able to manage schedules, competing priorities, and deadlines
  • Good IT skills, especially with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Forms, and Power Automate
  • Ideally, experience creating training content or digital learning materials.

🌟 Why Apply?

  • Be part of a team that supports schools across the UK and globally
  • Help education leaders adopt better systems and improve day-to-day school life
  • Enjoy a hybrid role with a mix of home working, occasional client site visits, and potentially international travel
  • Join a fast-growing company that invests in its people and their development
  • Work in a collaborative, friendly team where your ideas will be valued
