Are you passionate about privacy and data protection? We're looking for aĀ Senior Data Privacy AdvisorĀ to strengthen our privacy footprint across North America — with a key focus on theĀ United StatesĀ šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø.

šŸ”‘ Key Responsibilities:

  • šŸ“„ Assist in theĀ design and implementationĀ of privacy policies, processes, and procedures acrossĀ North America, including theĀ US and Canada
  • šŸ¢ Partner with business functions to createĀ function-specific privacy procedures, processes, and controls
  • šŸ“š Support data owners in maintaining anĀ inventory of personal data processing, and provide education around key responsibilities (e.g. what is personal data, usage, access, documentation, etc.)
  • šŸ“£ DriveĀ awareness and cultureĀ around data privacy in the United States
  • šŸŽ“ SupportĀ training initiativesĀ to keep employees informed on essential privacy topics
  • āœ… Assist withĀ privacy compliance reviews, including third-party evaluations where needed
  • šŸ•µļøā€ā™€ļø Help investigateĀ privacy incidents, breaches, and complaintsĀ for US and Canadian entities
  • šŸ¤ Contribute toĀ merger & acquisition due diligenceĀ and help deliver integration activities

  • šŸ“Œ 2–3 years ofĀ direct experienceĀ in privacy
  • šŸ”„ Proven ability toĀ drive privacy initiativesĀ and foster a strong privacy culture
  • šŸŒ Solid understanding ofĀ global privacy laws, includingĀ GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA,Ā andĀ notice of breach laws
  • šŸ”§ Ability toĀ translate regulations into practical solutions
  • šŸ¤ StrongĀ relationship managementĀ skills across all organizational levels
