IRIS Software Group is seeking a motivated Senior IT Service Analyst to join our team and take ownership of the full life cycle management of our software and hardware assets. What Will You Be Doing?

In this exciting position, you’ll play a key role in managing IT assets and driving improvements across our End User Services (EUS) and wider IT team. You’ll:

  • Manage and maintain all hardware and software assets across the organisation.
  • Develop, uphold, and embed processes, policies, and standards for effective asset management.
  • Maintain accurate records of licences, service agreements, and warranties.
  • Investigate and resolve issues with asset discovery tools, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Maximise resource use by eliminating waste and reducing unnecessary purchases.
  • Build and oversee a hardware and software catalogue to support organisational needs.
  • Champion IT Asset Management by providing training and support across teams.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to manage software agreements, renewals, and contracts.
  • Generate insightful reports and metrics to drive continuous improvement across IT and ITSM.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to grow our hardware and software catalogues in line with business growth.

 

What Are We Looking For?

We’d love to connect with you if you bring:

  • ITIL Knowledge: Foundation certificate or higher preferred.
  • ITAM Expertise: Experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM) functionality.
  • Asset Management Skills: Proficiency in managing hardware and software assets, including CMDB and service management toolsets.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with discovery tools, data mapping, and compliance in the asset lifecycle.
  • Procurement and Supplier Management: Experience in end-user asset management, software/hardware procurement, and warranties.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and relationship-building abilities with a focus on stakeholder collaboration.
  • Process-Driven Mindset: Analytical and organised with a knack for planning, reporting, and continuous improvement.
