Our Professional Services, accountancy team are hiring and seeking a Training Consultant to implement IRIS software solutions and provide training, collaborating with customers and internal staff who form part of the client project delivery teams, to enable customers to achieve the expected business benefits from an IRIS solution.

You will be providing training on the Accountancy desktop and our cloud based Elements modules of the software solution, experience in the software systems will be ideal. Delivery to the customer will be remotely via Teams. 

As a Training Consultant your primary role will be to assist businesses in successfully training practices to use our desktop or cloud-based software solutions. You'll work closely with senior consultants and clients to understand their specific needs and objectives, providing expert guidance throughout the implementation of the software and training.  By configuring workflows, system settings, and ensuring a seamless transition, you'll play a vital role in optimising their digital systems and ensuring a seamless transition to the new digital platform.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate with senior consultants and clients to gain an understanding of their business requirements and goals.
  • Analyse client needs, and design digital solutions that align with their objectives.
  • Configure cloud-based software to meet the unique specifications of each client.
  • Set up and optimise workflows, system configurations, and data integrations to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Conduct thorough testing to ensure the software is functioning correctly and meets client expectations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including senior consultants, developers, and project managers.
  • Provide expertise and guidance to clients throughout the consultancy, addressing any concerns or challenges that may arise.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any questions or bugs encountered during the consultancy or training.
  • Document processes, configurations, and best practices to create a knowledge base for future reference and training purposes.
  • Importing Client data and data manipulation

 

Knowledge and Experience 

  • Proven experience in training on desktop and/or cloud-based software solutions, demonstrating a strong understanding of system configurations and data integrations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address potential challenges during consultancy and training.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results to ensure successful implementation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to different client requirements and project scopes.
  • Accountancy knowledge preferable but not essential
