Client Payroll Team Lead

This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

This is a full time position leading a team of Payroll Executives, to facilitate the smooth running of IRIS Payroll Services by:

  • Supporting the Regional Operations Managers
  • Ensuring clients’ payrolls are run in an accurate, efficient and effective manner
  • Maintaining high client retention rates
  • Achieving high customer satisfaction in accordance with personal, team and objectives.
  • Supporting and assisting in the upskilling of the Payroll Managers

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • The speedy, efficient and professional resolution of client queries, thus building and maintaining good relationships with clients
  • Keeping up to date with upgrades and developments in the Payroll software products
  • Keeping up to date with developments is legislation changes as they affect IRIS Payroll Services clients
  • To fulfil objectives/targets as set out in the In Year Review
  • Attend and input to regular Team Leader  Meetings
  • Be responsible for authorising team holiday requests and logging team sickness
  • First line of response in dealing with team members’ queries
  • First point of escalation for client issues
  • Liaise with Account Management regarding teams client issues
  • Attend client meetings when required
  • Output Monthly KPI data to Operations for your team
  • Monitoring, management and action of feedback from Peak-on surveys each period.
  • Ensuring all team BACS are sent on or before the deadline

 

 Qualifications:

  • Payroll experience
  • Have worked on in house payroll
  • Manual calculations
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • High level of customer service skills
  • Good team working skills, helpful and trustworthy
