As the Director, Performance Marketing, you will lead the development of strategies aimed at achieving high-quality lead generation and optimising the sales pipeline through paid media and digital channels.

 

Your proficiency will play a pivotal role in shaping our digital demand initiatives, with a focus on maximising Return on Investment (ROI) across various channels and campaigns to elevate our revenue generation.

 

What will you be doing?

 

As Director, Performance Marketing, your role encompasses the following:

 

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive performance marketing strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality leads, opportunities, and orders into the sales pipeline.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of digital marketing specialists, providing guidance, setting goals, and fostering a culture of data-driven innovation and excellence.
  • Balancing strategy and hands-on execution, maintaining a 50/50 player-coach role.
  • Driving the digital pipeline for all segments, including self-serve, online sales, sales-assisted, Small/Medium-sized Businesses (SMB), and large enterprise account-based marketing, covering the complete product portfolio of the business.
  • Owning the strategy for all paid media campaigns across various platforms, such as Google Ads, Meta ads, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels, aiming to maximise ROI and lead generation.
  • Analysing ROI and campaign performance, conduct A/B tests, and offer actionable insights and recommendations to continually optimise and enhance campaign effectiveness, adopting a continual test and learn approach.
  • Providing budget management advice and allocating digital marketing budgets, continuously analysing spend and recommending changes as necessary to ensure optimisation.
  • Staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure the company remains at the forefront of digital marketing innovation.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, demand, product marketing, and web, to align marketing efforts with business goals and strategies.

What are we looking for?

 

This role is ideal for candidates with the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successful Business to Business (B2B) performance marketing leadership within a global B2B SaaS company.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, showcasing the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Experience in constructing a performance marketing engine, encompassing tracking, attribution, automation, and optimisation.
  • Deep expertise in overseeing intricate digital marketing campaigns, utilising tools such as Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) to generate pipeline across diverse B2B audiences and products.

 

In addition to the core skills/experience above, the following competencies are essential for success in this position:

 

  • Exceptional analytical skills, enabling the derivation of insights from data and making data-driven decisions to optimise campaigns.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capability to collaborate effectively across departments and present strategies to senior leadership.
  • Confident in navigating a global matrixed environment with numerous stakeholders, goals, and priorities.
